Profit reporting per SKU and serial: true margin, inventory value, and velocity for marketplace sellers

True profit per SKU and per serial — not a spreadsheet estimate. Reports are built on settlement data: Amazon settlements, Walmart payment reports, and eBay Managed Payments are matched back to the unit automatically, and retailer payouts from the Mirakl, SPS Commerce, and EDI channels come in as imported remittances, so every dashboard reads actuals.

The spreadsheet problem

Most tools call "sale price minus cost" profit. It doesn't know about referral fees that fluctuate by category, FBA storage fees that post three weeks late, return shipping deductions, or the periodic reserve debit nobody can explain. Estimates compound, and by the time the bank deposit hits, the gap between estimated and actual profit is meaningful.

The only number that's actually true is the settlement deposit. Most reporting tools never reconcile against it, because pulling settlement data per marketplace is a slog and mapping every line item back to an order is its own project.

What Rilk does

Reporting is built on settlement-reconciled actuals. Once a payout is reconciled, every fee line is matched to the order, the unit, and the SKU it came from, and the estimated fees on those orders are replaced by what was actually charged. Amazon, Walmart, and eBay reconcile themselves; the rest reconcile from the remittance file the retailer sends you.

Per-unit profit reconciled against settlement deposits
Inventory value dashboards by location, channel, and condition grade
Sales velocity by SKU and by channel — 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day sell-through
Return rate by SKU, including the full cost of returns
Marketplace and vendor performance dashboards
CSV export on every report and dashboard
Refurbisher and importer segments with their own margin and landed-cost rollups

How it changes your day

Instead of pasting Monday-morning CSVs from four marketplaces into a master spreadsheet and eyeballing an "estimated profit" column, last week's per-unit profit is on the dashboard, reconciled against the settlement deposits that already posted. Vendor drift — slipping lead times, creeping unit costs, a rising defect rate — shows up as a rolling 90-day trend the week it starts, not the quarter it finishes.

Frequently asked questions

What does "settlement-reconciled" mean?

That the payout has been matched to the orders it paid for, and the real fee lines have replaced the estimates on those orders. The per-unit profit you see is then the settled number, with no model assumptions to be wrong about.

Which marketplaces does Rilk reconcile?

Amazon settlement reports, Walmart payment reports, and eBay Managed Payments are read and matched to your orders automatically. Every other channel reconciles by importing the remittance file that retailer sends, or by marking the orders a deposit covered.

Can I export the reports?

Yes. Every report and dashboard drops to CSV for your accountant or your BI tool, with custom date ranges, comparison periods, and filters.
